Deteksi Blind Spot pada Sinyal Access Point menggunakan Metode Site Survey

Abstract

One of primary need nowadays is the internet. In terms of education, schools and universities trying to make the internet accessible within the school or university environment by installing access points at some points so that every area can be covered. Faculty of Information Technology Maranatha Christian University has a wireless network system with access points at various points for the network to cover the entire area. To improve the quality of the network there needs to be carried out measurements or research on network quality. Measurements are made using Site Survey method. Site Survey measurements are performed to gain signal strength, channel, and coverage of areas accessible to wireless networks. Measurement results will be processed and will be given recommendations or conclusions to improve the performance of wireless networks.
