Abstract

Game of Thrones is a popular television series with an IMDB rating of 9.3/10 adapted from a fantasy fiction novel written by George R R Martin that aired from 2011 to 2019 with a total of 8 seasons and 73 episodes. The story is about nine kingdoms that fight for the throne throughout the land of Westeros and defend the kingdom from the threat of enemies who reappear after thousands of years. The Game of Thrones dataset available on the Kaggle website is a dataset collected from various sources which then attracted the interest of a number of fans to carry out various analyses. The purpose of this Final Project is to explore and explain the steps involved in data processing using techniques such as data augmentation to oversampling the data, dividing data using stratified cross validation techniques, then train the model using the Random Forest and Logistic Regression algorithms with a dataset that has been oversampled and the original dataset as a comparison to get the best accuracy.
