Implementasi Profile Matching dalam Pengembangan Website Maranatha Jobfair

Abstract

Maranatha Jobfair is an activity organized by the Directorate of Student Affairs at Maranatha Christian University as a means for graduates to find job. All jobfair participants register themselves first, then attend the jobfair event which is held on campus. During the activity, the problems that founded was  a very long queue of participants which resulted in jobfair activities was not conducive. The jobseekers have to queue for a long time to register, or just to ask companies about job vacancies that were opened. The purpose of the Maranatha Jobfair website was created as a means of assistance for jobseekers to be able to access all information related to jobfairs, as well as any job vacancies opened by participating companies. The companies will be helped to choose every jobseekers that relevant with the required qualifications. Maranatha jobfair website using the Profile Matching method, that will give job recommendations that relevant with user preferences. All user get the result about their job recommendation and the company will get the jobseeker that relevant with the required qualification.
