Abstract

CV. Sinar Cemerlang Cirebon is one of the distributing company in Cirebon city engaging in the distributions of beauty products such as cosmetics, make-ups, lipsticks, eye-liners, et cetera. The company has an application that records product data by which the user can see the details of each products currently available in the warehouse. The purchase process starts from buying the beauty products from a producing company and then their brands, categories, prices, and the quantity of each products, are recorded into the purchase detail records. Next, the purchased products are stored into the warehouse. After the recording, the stocks of the products seen in the product data records are automatically increased by the amount these products are bought. The sales process starts from a retailer that orders the required products to the company and then the company records the name of ordering retailer, the products ordered, and the quantity of each products ordered, into the order detail records. Next, the ordered products are shipped into the ordering retailer. Payment can be done following or before the shipment. After the recording, the stocks of the products seen in the product data records are automatically reduced by the amount these products are ordered. When the order process are done, the record for this order detail is moved to the sales detail records. This company has to look after every ongoing payments and shipments to be done before the fixed due dates. Therefore, this company requires an application to remind the user about payments and shipments of products to the stores concerned, so called the Information Systems of the Reminder of Payments and Shipments in the Inventory of Goods at CV. Sinar Cemerlang Cirebon.
